Elderflower Campagne

I brewed myself some Elderflower bubbly! Taken me two weeks to make, but have tested it and its very yummy.

Sea Kayaking - Budleigh to Sidmouth

After a lazy morning we finally got ourselves organised and picked some kayaks up from AS Watersports and Collected Tom and headed to Budleigh for a late afternoon paddle.

Andy was paddling the new Valley Etain, Tom was in the P & H Scorpio LV and i was in the Valley Avocet.

 After getting kitted up we launched from the beach and started our paddle round to Sidmouth, its rough about a 7 mile paddle. It wasn't the calmest of days but nothing to testing either.

After arriving at Sidmouth, Andy showed us a very interesting way of landing after picking a very steep area of the beach which seemed to be the roughest area and got very wet! Tom and me then found a lot nicer area and stayed pretty much dry. We then treated ourselves with some cheesy chips before heading back again.

We had a challenging landing when we got back to Budleigh as the swell had picked up a little and it was a bit of a steep beach, we managed to land fairly smoothly though.

Just as we got out and went to grab the car it decided to tip it down and we got wetter getting changed than we did kayaking.
